Tenet Healthcare to Implement AI platform across Physician Network to Optimize Clinical Workflow

Tenet Healthcare announced the launch of an ambient AI platform with its physician network, Tenet Physician Resources. The company has collaborated with Commure to integrate their AI-powered platform, Commure Scribe, into the clinical workflows and reduce administrative burden for healthcare providers. It is expected that this collaboration will improve data collection, documentation, and care delivery, thus making more time for patient care.

Tenet Physician Resources employs more than 2,200 physicians and healthcare professionals in the United States. With this latest deployment, the AI platform will be placed all over the network that includes an extensive spread of medical specialties and care teams. This technology is designed to enhance efficiency and minimize time spent by the clinicians in doing mundane administrative tasks. As such, it will make a healthcare experience even more human-centric.

Commure is Mountain View, California-based technology firm leading the way in AI innovation in healthcare. Its ambient AI platform has already been adopted by other major health systems such as HCA Healthcare, designed to be seamlessly integrated into existing clinical workflows. In addition to its recent partnership with Tenet, Commure’s influence extends to tens of thousands of physicians within some of the largest integrated delivery networks across the nation.

Philipp Ludwig, CEO of Tenet Physician Resources, expressed strong support for the collaboration, noting, “We selected Commure due to their provider- and patient-centric approach to innovation.”

We are excited to roll out Commure’s AI platform across our national network, continuing to improve the positive experience for our patients, providers, and care teams, said Todd Abstract. It certainly represents yet another step in Tenet’s commitment to bettering healthcare delivery with the best technology possible.

It is part of a much bigger trend in healthcare in which artificial intelligence is increasingly being used to enhance clinicians, cut burnout, and improve patient outcomes. The Commure AI platform, specifically its functionalities for automating clinical documentation and data entry, shall be useful for healthcare providers in managing rising administrative loads and demand for care.
